Ah yes, the first post.

I do so love mint­ing a new blog. In fact it has come to my atten­tion that I actu­ally spend more time cre­at­ing blogs and updat­ing old ones than I do writ­ing in any of them. Time for change!

I do enjoy writ­ing, I really do. Beyond that I also like being able to share expe­ri­ences, dis­cov­er­ies and what­ever else is on my mind with friends, fam­ily and inter­net strangers alike. For some time now I have been danc­ing around dif­fer­ent blogs and dif­fer­ent web ser­vices and I am left with a big undoc­u­mented hole in my life. I’d like to change that.

The moti­va­tion to get this new blog live was very sim­ple. I acci­den­tally deleted parts of my old land­ing page. Oops. My lit­tle slice of the inter­net was left cold, naked and dan­gling in the wind for a few hours while I scraped together what you are see­ing now.

I’m not sure how to prep your expec­ta­tions at this point, but fear not. I’ll be try­ing to post reg­u­lar­ily with inter­est­ing tid­bits of my life, pho­tos and of course geeky soft­ware and web stuff.
